Texas... From the Heart?

I wasn't born in Texas. I wasn't even raised in Texas. But I was raised by a Texan - my Daddy. I grew up in California, and we came to Texas every summer to visit my grandparents, who lived 1n what was the original homestead house on part of the original family ranch. And now here I am, living in Texas myself - for 16 years now. My roots in Texas are deep, and yes, my heart is in Texas.

Oh, and my Mama is from Wyoming - I know I also have roots there and elsewhere in the midwest, as well as in Amish country. But for now, my heart is here... in Texas!

I want this blog to be about a lot of areas of my life. I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and, most importantly, a child of God. I'm also a work-from-home medical transcriptionist and a consultant for Close to My Heart, a scrapbooking/stamping company. I look forward to writing about all of these things here - sharing photos of my work (SB pages, cards, etc.) - and griping about my job (mumbling doctors, take note!) Yes, I'll be bragging about my amazing children and my awesome husband, and sharing about the ways God has worked in my life.

How often will I write? I have no idea. I just know that I cannot say it will be every day! Perhaps it will be every day, even if it's only a quick photo or a shared recipe or... whatever. We'll see! I'm just glad to finally be here!

Please, if you're reading this, my first post, comment so I know you've been here! :)
